Note:  The US investment markets, and my office, will close at 1PM, Thursday, December 24th, for the obvious reason.  Normal operations resume Monday, December 28th.

As for the stock market specifically: This week’s commentary will not be one worth retaining.  Sorry about that.

Last week saw the introduction of coronavirus vaccinations in the US, and expansion of vaccinations around the world.
Whether this caused stocks to rise, or simply correlated with that event is something worthy of discussion at your Christmas dinner.  To all of you celebrating Hanukkah, perhaps you’ve already had this conversation!
The risk assessing tools I used strengthened last week.  The short-term indicators started the week on defense, and last Monday’s market movement, they’ve also turned positive.  I recommend WEALTH ACCUMULATION strategies.

Remember, Xs mean OFFENSE or wealth accumulation, while Os mean DEFENSE, or wealth preservation.

Below is where our indicators stand as of December 18, 2020 (Courtesy Dorsey, Wright, and Associates).

On a general note: Nothing intelligent made it my way last week, so this week’s commentary likely falls into that same category for you.  Again, sorry about that. Regardless, feel free to call me with any questions or concerns.
